Dr Joshua King

BVSc (Hon1) FANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine)

Josh is a veterinary internal medicine specialist with over a decade of experience in specialist referral practice. His goal is to provide insight, and work collaborotively on every case! His work focuses on delivering clear plans for your patients based on imaging and holistic case assessments allowing your team to make timely, informed decisions about patient case.

With a genuine passion for internal medicine, Josh loves the puzzle that is internal medicine and approaches each patient as an individual — integrating imaging results with the full clinical picture to guide effective case management. He values working closely with your veterinary team timely, informed decisions can be made about every case!

Outside of work, Josh enjoys travelling, watching movies, reading and spending time with his family, including his wife Philippa their 3 kids and 4 'fur and scale' kids, Neo the Golden Retriever, Jet the cat (found in a jet ski), Monty the Stimsons python (sorry, it was a dad joke) and Mini Mack the Saw Shelled turtle who came into the clinic as a penny sized turtle during cyclone Alfred!

Dr Philippa Williams BVSc (Hons) MANZCVS (ECC)

Philippa brings close to 20 years of experience in veterinary emergency medicine, with a reputation for calm, efficient decision-making under pressure. Her experience makes her an invaluable asset allowing her to triage priority ultrasound cases and schedule urgent ultrasounds without delay. She also just happens to be Josh’s wife!

Highly organised and detail-oriented, Philippa draws on her management experience to keep the business running smoothly, efficiently and sustainably behind the scenes. With sustainability an important family value, Philippa keeps the business focused on minimising its environmental footprint — right down to making sure the company car plugs into a wall rather than a petrol pump!

Outside of work, Philippa’s passion is family and travel. She has travelled to over 60 countries and infected Josh and the kids with the travel bug! Philippa’s organisational skills are just as vital at home as they are at work — she manages the social schedule for a busy household, three children, and a menagerie of pets! Whether at home or in the clinic, Philippa’s blend of professionalism, efficiency, and warmth always helps everything run seamlessly!
