Our Services
All ultrasound services are accompanied by a concise, structured report, and specialist, case-specific interpretation. Our reports go beyond image description, providing practical guidance and tailored recommendations that take into account the full clinical picture, including history, examination findings, and differential diagnoses. This ensures that results are not only accurate but also clinically meaningful and actionable for optimal patient care.
Abdominal Ultrasound

Abdominal ultrasonography involves systematic evaluation of the hepatobiliary system (liver, gallbladder, bile ducts), pancreas, spleen, kidneys and urinary tract, adrenal glands, and the entire gastrointestinal tract. Abdominal lymph nodes are examined, together with major abdominal vascular structures including the portal vein, caudal vena cava, and aorta. The reproductive tract (prostate, uterus, ovaries, testes as appropriate) is assessed, as are the peritoneal and retroperitoneal spaces for effusion, masses, or other abnormalities. This comprehensive examination provides detailed information on abdominal organ structure and pathology.

Thoracic Ultrasound
Thoracic ultrasonography includes systematic evaluation of the pleural space and lungs for evidence of effusion, masses, or parenchymal change. Mediastinal structures may be seen in the presence of thoracic pathology, including visualisation of the thymic region and mediastinal lymph nodes. The heart and pericardium are screened. This comprehensive assessment aids in the detection of pleural, pulmonary and mediastinal abnormalities and provides a point of care assessment of the heart.
Cervical Ultrasound
During ultrasound of the cervical region, a systematic evaluation of the thyroid glands, parathyroid glands, major salivary glands (mandibular, parotid, and sublingual as accessible), and associated vascular structures is performed. A detailed examination of the regional lymph nodes for changes in size, shape, and echogenicity is performed. This comprehensive approach allows detection of endocrine disease, salivary or vascular abnormalities, and evidence of local or systemic inflammatory or neoplastic processes.

Minimally Invasive Diagnostics
Ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirates, thoracocentesis, pericardiocentesis, abdominocentesis and core biopsies are invaluable diagnostic tools, offering a minimally invasive, safe, and cost-effective way to obtain samples. By providing accurate cytologic or histologic information, they often deliver the fastest route to a definitive diagnosis and more targeted treatment planning.

NOTE: These can only be booked in conjunction with an ultrasound examination.

Other Advanced Diagnostics
Advanced diagnostics and procedures — including arthrocentesis, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) tap, bone marrow aspirates/biopsies, and esophagostomy tube placement — may be available on request, depending on patient needs and case suitability

NOTE: These procedures are available only after a specialist case review with Josh.
